This information was not illustrated with the help of images; Corriera della Sera cited only their own source. However one of the Italian car-blogs made a CGI of the new Giulia. According to their article, the car is based on the floor panel named C-Evo of Giulietta which can be altered to be suitable for four wheel drive thus a rear wheel drive version is possible.

The article also mentions that Giulia will be programmed to perform a comfortable but agile handling. To reach this, the usual DNA switch will be installed accordingly the steering-gear and the suspension can be influenced.

As for the engines, possibilities are the same. Rumours add that Chrysler V6 Pentastar will be available next to the 1750 TBi engine. Descendant of 159 can also be powered by 1.6 and 2.0 Mjets moreover a V6 engine is planned.
