Last week, Chief Executive Officer of Chrysler, Sergio Marchionne, announced that the next generation of Viper would be available by the end of 2012. According to AutoWeek, the new exclusive model could be based on a slightly refit design of 8C Competizione.

The expression "slightly refit" would mean a reconsideration of the bumper and the nose of 8C to be much more American and Viper-like. As for engines and other technologies, there are not any rumours.
