An informer of Fiat had told Automotive News that because of the delay of Giulia Alfa Romeo would be re-introduced to the American market only in 2013. CEO Sergio Marchionne denied this and he added that 4C GTA would be the first Alfa Romeo in the USA.

Professionals of the automotive industry create rumours of 4C, the brand-new one claims that a roadster alter will be produced with the co-operation of Dallara, but the car will be named Abarth not Alfa Romeo.
